Intuitive Eating – my shift to phase meat out.

Hello Lovelies, this is a bit of personal post that I’ve been wanting to share some time, but have been hesitant because I was still trying to figure out what my body has been trying to tell me.

I’ve always been conscious about maintaining a healthy diet, but have never been overly concerned with supplements, fad diets or where my food comes from. I’ve tried, but never made a huge effort, about only bringing organic foods into the house. Since I’ve started living a more holistic lifestyle, furthering my self-healing and energetic practice and raising my vibration, the more conscious I’m becoming of what I put into my body, and how it’s affecting me, physically and energetically. 🌿🌰

I’ve always been a meat lover, but the last couples months I’ve been noticing more and more that I’m not only becoming put off by the taste of meat and poultry but my body just feels shitty the day after, I feel heavy and super lethargic. 🐓🐂😷When I’m only putting whole, organic, plant-based foods into my system, I feel amazing and have more energy than ever!! High vibe foods for the win 🙌 It was like a light bulb suddenly turned on, and I finally got it! 💡
I finally understood the importance of high-vibe, organic, Whole Foods, not only for me but for my family too. Just this last weekend I had a conversation about how drastically kids hormones are changing, my girl is only 8 and already pre-pubescent… it’s terrifying but it’s all the hormones and other crap that goes into the foods and water we consume!
And while I’ll never force her or my partner to go completely vegetarian, it’s my mission to make sure that if I am bringing meat and poultry into my home, it’s going to be 100% organic. As for myself, I can’t see meat and poultry being a big part of my diet for much longer!!
