Making Forgiveness Easy-er

Forgiveness is a tough subject. It’s not easy and it can be hard to ‘forgive and forget’ in order to move on. Sometimes we don’t want to forgive someone for hurting us, or even someone we love, because we feel that then the person has been ‘let off the hook’.

But what I’ve learnt about forgiveness is that it’s not about the other person, AT ALL. Forgiveness is about YOU.

It’s about letting go of that hurt and anger (& even resentment) that sits in our hearts and brings us down. Forgiveness is about breaking the tie that the other person holds over you; their energy, the energy of the situation, the emotions that you feel toward them. Forgiveness is about releasing YOUrself.

Forgiveness can be practiced for small things like silly arguments with your partner, a friend letting you down, and even you practicing forgiveness toward yourself. Forgiveness is also a huge part of the healing process when it comes to bigger issues… and I promise you this – it is truly empowering.

Crystals and Oils for Forgiveness

Today I wanted to share my favourites tools to help the process when working through forgiveness.

The benefits of Energy Work for Children

benefits of reiki for childrenMy favourite clients are my little clients, and their parents (ofcourse!) 👧🏼💞🌱🌞Kids are so open to energy work and holistic tools that the effects are seen almost instantly! When looking at the benefits of energy work for children, it’s a no brainer!

Diet, screen time, environmental and noise pollution, physical activity, time outside, etc. are some of the things that play a massive role in child wellbeing, behaviour, and physical health. I see so many parents who are distressed over their child being tearful, frustrated, irritable, moody, aggressive, unable to concentrate, and so on.

Reiki, Crystal Healing, Chakra Balancing, Emotional and Vibrational Aromatherapy are just a few of the holistic methods that are incredibly beneficial to the growing mind, bodies, emotions, and spirits of children and babies, as it restores the natural balance within the body and offers support for those areas that a child may be having difficult with but they may not yet be able to communicate.

Learning how your child energetic, emotional, and mental anatomy functions offers insight into their physical wellbeing and behaviour. I love offering treatments to children, but my greater joy is empowering their parents to do it for them (the children) by teaching the parent how to do the work themselves.

The Tarot (or Oracle Cards) offers great insight and guidance to all areas of your life, mind, body, and spirit, and when used in this way as a tool for overall wellness and introspection, you’re not only receiving insight from yourself, but from your Higher Self too! 💫🙌😇

Let’s jump in!

To start things off, today we are going to be connecting with our first energetic center, our Muladhara, or Base/Root Chakra – home of your 5 basic needs, physical health, stability, grounding, and security.

Your Base Chakra gets its red colour by the slow frequency at which it spins (vibrates).
❤Located at the base of your spine (or tail bone) your Base Chakra respresents your 5 basic survival needs;
-food
-shelter
– sleep
– clothing
– and love.

Your Base Chakra influences;
– how you think and physically feel in and about your body
– what you think about other people’s bodies (judgment and criticism) 🚷
– how safe and secure you feel in your home, surroundings, world, etc 🆘
– how open-minded you are to thoughts, opinions and other perspectives, or if you hold preconceived ideas and judgments ‼
– how responsible you are for your own life
– how effectively you organise and prioritise tasks in your life ✔
– and your connection to the Earth, Gaia, animals and other people. 🍄

So now that you have a basic understanding of the different areas of your life that this center influences, let’s use your Tarot cards to assess and balance this center, and the associated areas of your life!

Take a deep breath, connect with your intuition/Higher Self or spiritual support system, and gently bring your attention to your Base Chakra.

Shuffle your cards, read over the prompts below, and deal a card in each position. You can ask your intuition/High Self each prompt before placing the card – or go with what feels comfortable.

Reveal your cards, and take a minute to note any immediate impressions that come to you. Then spend some time exploring the messages and guidance offered within. ❤

Holistic Tarot

Transpersonal Tarot 101

Transpersonal Tarot GuideStarting a Tarot practice can be intimidating at first, but it doesn’t have to be.

Like everything Metaphysical, there are many differing opinions and interpretations about Transpersonal, or Holistic, Tarot out there, and many different ways that people use different types of holistic tools. In Holistic Healing, the tool is not the focus, it is, rather, how we use it. So, in this case, and the way I teach Tarot use, your tarot card deck (or a traditional playing card deck) is the “tool”, or “instrument” that you will be using to assess and understand the state of your mind, body, and spirit.

In my Transpersonal Tarot Reading Course, you learn how to use this tool, your Tarot Deck, as a way to expand your self-awareness, consciousness, spiritual understanding, and receive opportunities for inner guidance and introspection in order to make better life decisions. In addition to this, you learn how to use cards as a tool for personal growth, self-improvement and spiritual development.

Notice here that I have mentioned nothing about being psychic.

How do the cards work?

Transpersonal Tarot works hand in hand with your energy and the Law of Attraction. Tarot Cards work off of our energy, and the energies that we are putting out into the Universe. To explain the Law of Attraction simply, it is the Universal Law that states “Like Attracts Like”. This law is governed by thought energy, our beliefs, emotional feelings and responses, and ultimately the decisions we make and actions that we take within our day to day lives.

The reason why Tarot Cards can be such an empowering and valuable tool is because they offer us an opportunity to examine the energies that we are emanating (which is what each of them represent), and what we will be likely attracting into our lives, either currently or over time, if we continue to put out those same energies, thoughts, emotions and actions.

I view Transpersonal Tarot as a form of Spiritual Coaching, or Counselling, paired with Holistic Self-Healing, and when we use Tarot Cards in a Holistic way, we become more aware of who we are and why we are the way we are (aka. Self-Awareness), we become aware of the bigger picture of the Universe and the beauty of Human Existence (The Story of The Fools Journey), and we gain an increased appreciation and respect for “Free Will” and “cause and effect” (aka. The Law of Attraction). And by doing so, we are addressing all aspects of our being – mind, body, and spirit. Transpersonal Tarot is a journey into The Self, it is your own personal counselling session, if you will, and is a tool that we can use every day, to successfully relieve stress, and live an empowered and mindful life by design.

The term ‘Transpersonal’ simply means “areas of consciousness beyond the limits of personal identity”, and Transpersonal is exactly that, using the Tarot as a tool to address the health, well being and growth of all parts that make up a person – mind, body, and soul.

Interpreting your Cards

Now, not everything that I teach in my course is going to be covered in this post, but below I will share a simple guide and basic interpretations of your Tarot Deck that you can use to start exploring, understanding and using your cards as a tool for self-empowerment, healing, and growth.
